It’s Scorpiooooo season!
Scorpio is a water sign ruled both by Mars and Pluto. Mars is the ruler of communication and aggression. This energy gives Scorpios the ability to speak their sassy minds. Scorpios are sensitive creatures that crave growth and transformation which is exactly what Pluto represents. They have a hard exterior and will jab anyone with their scorpion tail to protect themselves. These creatures don’t trust easily but with some time and being reliable and true, they will surely warm up to you and let their guard down. At the beginning of Scorpio season we had a new moon in Scorpio on October 25th. It was also a new moon solar eclipse. This new moon encouraged us to be inspired about the things we care about. To let go of any energy or feelings that were holding us back. Following the new moon is the Beaver Full Moon, also known as the Frost Moon, on November 8th in the sign of Taurus. The Beaver moon got its name from the time of year when beavers would begin building their winter dams. It signified the time of year when the winter months approached with chillier weather. This full moon will also be a total lunar eclipse. The Beaver moon in Taurus will be guiding us to stay grounded and feel strengthened by the Taurus energy. Seeking to feel stable and secure in our lives.
With this full moon being an eclipse, the energy is all about transformation and course correcting your life. The transformational feelings are amplified with that being an essential component of the Scorpio spirit. As always, a sound bath during the full moon is a great way to connect with the moon's energy and get grounded.
