PANTONE'S COLOR OF THE YEAR: PEACH FUZZ

Happy New Year to everyone and hieeee fellow Capricorns!

I hope you ended up feeling like 2023 was a good year. I feel it’s important to focus on the good things that took place and the good lessons learned throughout a year rather than saying good riddance and dwelling on the bad. Your perception is important on how you view your life, filling your cup with gratitude and knowledge is key in your own head happiness ☺️ so maybe take a moment to review all the awesome things that 2023 gave you!

As some of you know i’m crazy into aesthetic, design, visuals and color. When we saw the new Pantone article, the world’s authority on color, unveils its highly anticipated Color of the Year we got super excited! Pantone ultimately sets the tone for design, fashion, and various industries including packaging, branding, and marketing. They are the undisputed leader in the world in regards to color. For 2024, Pantone choose “Peach Fuzz” as the Color of the Year. This warm and inviting orange-pink hue represents compassion, connection, and nurturing. From luxury goods to everyday products, This color is a modern take on a traditional feminine pink and we couldn’t be more excited to double down on embracing this hue going into 2024.

If you haven’t been to our physical space, this is the main color in our Venice Beach studio since we moved in in 2022. We’re ahead of the color curve apparently :) For us it was a no brainer as this hue conveys a sense of sophistication, calm and tranquility but also warmth. Peach Fuzz is also as inviting for men as it is for women alike and that was important in the design of the space. I’m obsessed with natural textiles and texture and neutral shades so I new my color choice had to work in that arena. I’m also aware that our consumer/client base is female dominate but in the studio I wanted guys to also feel just as welcome when coming in. Peach Fuzz also worked so well with all the neutral tones and light wood we use throughout our studio. Additionally we use this color way as an accent color throughout our whole website to create a cohesive brand identity and customer experience. We also use it in lots of products from our Aire Boheme Crystal Candles and Palo Santo Nourishing Body Oil to the dried flowers we use in our new Sage Harvest Bundles.

Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year offers an inviting hue for businesses to create emotional connections with consumers, stand out on shelves, while elevating our brand identity. Whether in website banners, tissue paper, gift boxes or actual packaging, Peach Fuzz brings a sense of tranquility and sophistication for us and hope it does for you too. What are your thoughts on their choice for color of the year? Let us know below!

Until next time, stay healthy and happy!
