These vintage textiles come from the tribes inhabiting Ivory Coast region of Africa. Traditionally these textiles were worn as clothing wraps. Modern ways to use these fabrics would be as a decorative throw, at the end of a bed, a beach blanket, fabric for pillows, framed as wall art or even as a cool scarf/ wrap.

We hand select each vintage piece for its stunning beauty of patterns and colors.. Long narrow ‘bands’ are hand woven in traditional methods and then each of those bands are stitched together to create a larger rectangle textile you see here. Slight traces of wear are typical, partially unstitched bands, or faded dye areas may be present in these hand made beauties. They are perfectly imperfect.
